The Dum Dum Girls To Release "He Gets Me High" EP

2010 was a busy year for Dum Dum Girls, releasing their debut full-length, "I Will Be," and touring with such bands as: Vampire Weekend, Beach House, MGMT, Male Bonding and The Crocodiles. This year however is proving to be as busy if not busier for the band at last, announcing the release of "He Gets Me High" which is the EP follow up to the bands fuzzy, girl group-inspired 2010 debut I Will Be, which is composed of three originals and a cover of the swooning Smiths' classic "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out." This EP was produced by lead singer/songwriter Dee Dee, Richard Gotteher (who also worked on I Will Be and is best known for penning "My Boyfriend's Back" and "I Want Candy"), and Sune Rose Wagner of the Raveonettes. "He Gets Me High" will be released on March 1st in CD/12"/digital formats.

These vivacious ladies will kick off a 21 date North American tour on February 16th in San Francisco and will have the band passing through such places as St. Louis (February 23), Burlington, Vermont (March 1st), Chapel Hill (March 8), ending in Tampa, Fl on March 13th.
