Imagine the young neighborhood boys playing shows for the rakes and shovels in the garage as they pound out riffs on cheap guitars through even cheaper amplifiers. With eyes closed they dream of the big stage, bright lights and screaming fans. Fast-forward several years, add in some classic and psychedelic rock influence and those dreams are about to come true for The Dustys as they take their show on the road in support of The Bravery.
What began as a collaboration between two friends in Arlington, VA quickly turned into much more once members of The Bravery got a hold of their debut, self-titled EP, released last year. Having only played a handful of shows around the northeast United States, the band is set to join The Bravery for their entire fall tour that includes almost thirty US shows along with gigs in both Toronto and Vancouver.
The finishing touches have been put on their sophomore EP, "Sticky Blood" (released on Merrifield Records), and can now be purchased online and will soon be available on iTunes.
