The Hundreds X Strife Project Release

The Hundreds is pleased to announce the unveiling of the The Hundreds X Strife collaborative project, comprising a commemorative T-Shirt celebrating the album release of "Witness A Rebirth" -- ranked the highest selling punk record at Amoeba Music for the month of December 2012. The shirt and two styles of 7-inch vinyl are now available for purchase at all The Hundreds flagship locations (THLA, THNY, THSF and THSM).

"If you were around for the '90s hardcore scene, then you couldn't have gotten far from the name Strife.  The Southern California-based hardcore unit was one of the foremost bands pushing the metal-charged sound of the time, and now we are on the brink of their first new album in a decade.  The Hundreds is partnering up with Strife to usher in this next chapter of the band's story, one that is premised on bridging the old and new generations of the hardcore community.

The foundation for this partnership between The Hundreds and Strife is actually in friendships with singer Rick Rodney and guitarist Andrew Kline.  I am proud to say that I was a teenaged fan myself decades back, and after having familiarized myself with the guys personally over the years (Rick is a Renaissance man of Street culture, from graphic design work with some of your favorite brands to his prolific photography; Andrew had a hand in founding Tradition and now, with the Soul Assassins brand), it's been an honor to have it all come full-circle."

The The Hundreds X Strife long-sleeve tee features a specially designed The Hundreds - Strife logo on front and back. Other highlights include "THE HUNDREDS" and "WITNESS A REBIRTH" printed on the right and left sleeves, respectively. Available exclusively in a black colorway.

The "Witness A Rebirth" 7-inch comes offered in two variations -- black and red­­. Both versions feature "Carry The Torch" off the new album on Side A and a cover of Black Flag's "Police Story" on Side B. The limited run black vinyl will be carried exclusively at The Hundreds flagship locations. Red vinyl will be sold at select stockists worldwide.
