The Republic Tigers Hitting The Road, Recording Sophomore Album

Chop Shop recording group The Republic Tigers have announced plans for an upcoming fall tour alongside Yourself And The Air. The mini-trek kicks off in Pittsburgh on October 6th and continues through October 16th, wrapping up in Cleveland. Both bands will be joined by Clem Snide at New York's Mercury Lounge on October 13th.

The Republic Tigers are currently writing and recording the follow-up to their 2008 critically acclaimed Chop Shop debut, Keep Color. Slated for a spring 2010 release, the band is producing the yet-untitled collection themselves in their Kansas City studio. Since releasing Keep Color, The Republic Tigers have toured with the likes of Nada Surf, Travis, and The Hold Steady, and have appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "Gossip Girl."
