The Sounds Hit US For Shows, To Play "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Eve Of Release

To celebrate the release of their fourth album, "Something To Die For," The Sounds will debut lead single "Something To Die For" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Monday, March 28, the eve of release. The post-punk, dance floor-ready track is an excellent representation of the quintet's self-produced LP that brims with their signature catchy pop anthems and hypnotic melodies, out March 29 on SideOneDummy Records.

Since their emergence, The Sounds have maintained an exhaustive touring schedule having played over 1000+ shows to date in more than 25 countries, establishing them not just a renowned live act but as a force that resonates across the cultural spectrum. The boisterous quintet is revered for its high-energy shows, often throwing their devoted fans into a frenzy with their bouncy sing-alongs. Lead singer Maja Ivarsson commands attention with her fierce swagger, while bandmates Felix Rodriguez, Jesper Anderberg, Johan Bengtsson and drummer Fredrik Blond maintain the pace with precision and purpose.

The Sounds will play select intimate shows on this initial stateside jaunt. In between these dates in New York, Los Angeles and Austin for SXSW, The Sounds will play in Mexico and South America, as well as additional dates in California.
