The Swell Season Announce "Strict Joy" Tour For Fall

The Swell Season will bring their bittersweet and beautiful new album "Strict Joy" (October 27th, Anti-) to a live setting this fall with over two dozen US dates. The tour marks their most extensive run since their sold-out world tour following the success of their Oscar-winning soundtrack "Once." The duo's live shows have been described as "cathartic" (Chicago Tribune), "mesmerizing" (Cleveland Plain Dealer) and "magnetic" (Arizona Republic).

In their fall music preview, the Wall Street Journal said 'Strict Joy' "builds on the couple's earthy musical chemistry by adding layers, such as the reserved horns on "Low Rising," a slow burning soul number."
