Vincent Minor Takes "Heavy Metal Lover" On US Tour

Vincent Minor has released the new "Heavy Metal Lover" MP3 which premiered on PopMatters from his self-titled album due out September 21st on Social Science Recordings. Hitting the road this Fall in true indie DIY fashion, he will be recruiting musicians in each city using Craigslist. The ever entrepreneurial Vincent Minor and his company LA Lords will be taking gay speed dating on tour with him; doing a night in each city he plays.

Vincent Minor assembled some amazing LA area talents to round out his grand vision including producer Tom Biller (Fiona Apple, Sean Lennon, Where the Wild Things Are), keyboardist Zac Rae (Annie Lennox, My Brightest Diamond), horn player Stewart Cole (Edward Sharpe, Rachael Yamagata), and upright bassist Ed Maxwell to achieve the album's spellbinding blend of indie pop and Tin Pan Alley melodies. The result is a collection of wryly humorous and troubling tales carried by Minor's tuneful baritone and his lush orchestral production.
