XPN Line-Up Performers For NON-COMMvention

WXPN has announced that Bright Eyes, The Jayhawks, Junip, Thurston Moore, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Justin Townes Earle, James McCartney, New York Dolls, Devotchka, G. Love, John Popper & the Duskray Troubadours and many more acts will perform at the11th annual NON-COMMvention to be held at the brand new World Cafe Live at The Queen in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, from May 19-21, 2011. All artist performances, including three XPN Free At Noon concerts, are open to the general public.

Twenty four acts are slated to perform over two and a half days. WXPN Listener Level tickets are available to the general public for $75 each or two for $100 and include access to all music events and admittance to The Music Meeting, a special presentation of brand new music on Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

"NON-COMM is a unique benefit to XPN listeners and the entire greater Philadelphia music community," said WXPN General Manager Roger LaMay. "We are excited to take the conference on the road this year and show off a great new venue for live music within our listening area."

The NON-COMMvention is the music industry conference where contemporary, non-commercial radio stations, artists and music industry professionals from all of the country convene to discover new music and discuss current industry trends. NON-COMM is solely produced by WXPN.

WXPN listener conference sessions include Free At Noon broadcasts with The Blind Boys of Alabama and John Pepper & the Duskray Troubadors as well as The Jayhawks and The Sam Roberts Band, a World Cafe interview with Robbie Robertson and more..
